Cosmetics
Appearance has become a very important in today's society.  The way our smile looks affects all areas of our lives--like it or not!  You may not want a dramatic "makeover'--just improvement in aesthetics and eating.  Often time and money is the determining factor.  Cosmetic Dentistry offers many solutions to make you smile with confidence.

Porcelain Veneers or
facings are a great way to improve on what Mother Nature didn't give you.  A very nice result is possible without drastic alteration of your permanent teeth.  Veneers, unlike bonding, are a longer lasting choice and are very durable.

Veneers can eliminate gaps and straighten and reshape your teeth in as little as two office visits and can address concerns such as:
- Gaps between teeth (diastemas)
- Chipped or broken teeth
- Stained, washed-out or unsightly fillings
- Crooked or misshapen teeth

Crowns are another alternative for restoring your smile and compromised teeth.  Dr McBride has perfected his skills over many years of practice and takes pride in doing high quality work.

Bridges or Implants are designed to replace missing teeth.  Not only do they fill the unsightly spaces left by lost teeth, but they also help support the teeth adjacent to, and directly opposite the missing teeth.

Bleaching, or whitening can remedy the problem of dull and discolored teeth.  Whitening corrects the discoloration by removing brown and yellow staining.  The term "teeth whitening" can refer to a number of techniques.  Among them are chemical whitening, milk acid whitening, abrasive teeth brightening and laser teeth whitening.  Dr McBride will suggest which method serves you best.

Bonding is a tooth-colored composite resin similar to an enamel that is bonded to the tooth surface to repair and/or change the color or shape of a tooth, then sculpted into shape, hardened and polished.

In some instances, simple Reshaping or Contouring of the front teeth, even without anesthesia, may produce a dramatic result to correct jagged, chipped or slightly uneven teeth.  Dr McBride can use sanding discs and fine diamonds to create a natural look with your existing teeth.
